Sun Park is a certified EC–12 all-level music educator in Texas, currently serving as a private instructor and early childhood music teacher. With a diverse teaching portfolio, she specializes in piano, percussion, band, ensemble, and group piano instruction. She is passionate about creating inclusive and engaging learning environments that cultivate musical growth and foster a lifelong love for music. In addition to her work as an educator, Ms. Park is also an accomplished performer. She was named Outstanding Instrumentalist of the Year in 2023 and is a three-time
winner of the SAI American Music Competition.
A native of South Korea, Ms. Park was the top entrant at the Seoul Institute of the Arts, where she majored in composition and graduated with highest honors. She later earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, graduating summa cum laude from Texas Wesleyan University, with dual emphases in percussion and piano pedagogy. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Music Education at the University of Texas at Arlington. Music has been at the center of Ms. Park’s life since the age of six, and she feels deeply honored to share that passion with her students. Many of her students have earned top ratings and awards at regional festivals and competitions. Ms. Park remains dedicated to growing as both an educator and performer, and she strives to nurture a learning environment where every student feels empowered, inspired, and supported in their musical journey.
