Taiko Pelick is an active collaborative pianist and teacher in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. She is a graduate of Texas Christian University where she received both her BM and MM degrees in Piano Performance under the instruction of John Owings and José Feghali. Taiko has been the recipient of several awards throughout her college years, including the Nordan Fine Arts Scholarship Award, the Bob Bolen Scholarship Award as well as an Assistantship Award in vocal and instrumental accompanying.
Taiko is currently the director of keyboard studies and adjunct professor of piano at Mountain View College and staff accompanist and adjunct professor of piano at Tarrant County College, Northwest Campus, and serves as staff collaborative pianist at Texas Christian University. She has performed internationally in Panamá where she was invited as a guest artist for the 2019 Cello Fest at the Universidad de Panamá. She has been on staff as a collaborative pianist for the Interlochen Arts Academy Camp during the summers of 2016 and 2017, and most recently spent the past three summers in New Hampshire as the pianist/music director at Camp Pemigewassett.
