Mary Ridenour has been on the stage since she was seven and has worked professionally since she was fourteen. She has performed in theaters such as Casa Manana, Water Tower Theater, Lyric Stage, Firehouse Theater, Upright Theater, Artisan Theater and more. Her favorite roles include Cathy in The Last 5 Years, Grace O’Mally in The Pirate Queen, Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act, Fantine in Les Miserables, Belle in Beauty and The Beast, Martha in The Secret Garden, Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun and Little Red and Rapunzel in two separate productions of Into The Woods.
In 2019, she won the DFW Column Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her role as Grizabella in Cats. Besides being on the stage Mary has also been a Music Director and Sound Designer for many productions, has a history of Voice Over work, and has sung for multiple weddings and events in Dallas. Mary specializes in teaching voice, piano, and musical theater.
